Pivotal Coffee Co. was founded by a nurse who understands long shifts, heavy decisions, and what it truly means to serve.
Healthcare is more than a profession in our family—it’s a calling. Raised by a nurse and now watching my daughter pursue medicine, I’ve seen firsthand the strength, compassion, and resilience it takes to care for others.
According to the Gallup Honesty and Ethics poll, nursing has been ranked the most trusted profession in the United States for over 20 consecutive years. Nursing is consistently ranked as the most trusted profession in the United States for over two decades—yet many nurses continue to feel overextended, under-supported, and quietly underappreciated.
But this mission is also deeply personal.
After donating a kidney to my mother, I experienced care from both sides—as a nurse and as a patient—surrounded by an extraordinary healthcare team. That moment deepened my respect and gratitude for those who show up every day to care for others, often without recognition.

My love for coffee runs just as deep.
Coffee has carried me through early mornings, long shifts, and some of life’s most difficult and meaningful moments. It has been present in conversations with family and friends, and in quiet moments alone to reflect.
Faith, family, friends, and coffee have been anchors in my life—bringing strength, comfort, and clarity when I needed it most.

The Meaning Behind Our Colors
Blush Pink represents serenity, peace, empathy, healing, and a profound love of God. It blends the strength of red with the calm purity of white—symbolizing both compassion and resilience.
Navy Blue reflects trust, confidence, and professionalism. In healthcare, it has a calming effect that helps reduce patient anxiety and is strongly associated with competence and reliability—qualities patients seek in those who care for them.
